Architectural Joinery & Design · Leeds
Natural forms.
We make bespoke furniture, kitchens and interior joinery from sustainable timber, collaborating with architects, designers and private clients.
About us
We shape the intangible.
Hartwell & Finch was founded in 2012 on a simple principle: return to the roots of honest craftsmanship. We strip away the unnecessary and reveal the raw beauty of sustainable timber.
From our Leeds workshop we work with architects and designers to create spaces that breathe: considered, tactile and made to last for generations.

Principles
How we work.
Sustainable sourcing
We trace every board to a managed forest, favouring UK and European timber with certified provenance.
Precision engineering
CNC accuracy where it helps, hand finishing where it matters. Every joint is checked before assembly.
Timeless design
We avoid trends. Proportion, utility and honest materials age gracefully over decades.
