05 · Shelving & desk
Estate Library
Floor-to-ceiling oak shelving and a partner’s desk for a country-house library.
The concept
A heritage restoration that needed sensitive material matching. We matched the existing oak panelling, then built shelving with a hidden ladder rail and a partner’s desk for two.
Every joint is traditional, and every shelf is adjustable.
Sample project written for this template; the piece and client are fictional.
